Zatch Bell

The Zatch Bell, a large bell located in the center of Tokyo, is a key part of Japan's strategy against attack by giant robots or monsters. When rung, the Zatch Bell summons an elite corps of Japanese schoolgirls to fight in defense of their country (or sometimes the entire Earth). Nominally controlled by Japan's ruling Emperor, the Zatch Bell is currently operated by the spirited but highly ineffective Japan Self-Defense Forces.
