YouTube is the most watched and most maligned of all cable television networks. Only available over the Internet, YouTube consists entirely of programming "borrowed" from other television networks. Because of this, sponsors have been reluctant to sign on with YouTube despite its growing popularity.

Recently, Google announced that it was purchasing YouTube for much, much more money than you'll ever see in one lifetime. Using its patented technology based on pigeons, Google hopes to bring order to what is essentially a lawless, Wild West like network.
