X-Play

After the brutal corporate takeover of Tech TV by the beloved G4 network, all remnants of Tech TV were destroyed. After the destruction, only two people were found still alive in the old Tech TV building in San Francisco. Barely alive, janitor Adam Sessler and 1/4 intern Morgan Webb were taken to Los Angeles and forced into captivity by their "hosts". There, trapped in a sub-basement of the G4 compound, Sessler and Webb are forced to play the world's worst video games and review them, Siskel and Ebert style. Cameras film the two constantly as they deal with a nightmarish world of interns, vidiots, wannabe stars and other random horrors. The "highlights" are edited into the 1/2 hour program X-Play, which G4 shows during breaks between Star Trek 2.0 marathons and reruns of The Man Show.

While X-Play is listed on the current G4 broadcasting line-up, the future of the show remains in doubt, as do the futures of Sessler and Webb.
