Windfall
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Windfall is an anthology series that began airing on NBC in the summer of 2006. Produced by Regis Philbin and loosely based on the hit ABC series Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, the show follows the lives of the lucky winners of a $386 million lottery jackpot. Since the winning numbers were the same as "The Numbers" from Lost, the jackpot has to be divided 38.6 million ways. Windfall shows how winning the $10 (before taxes) share changes the lives of those affected.
The theme song to Windfall is Joyful Girl by Ani DiFranco, who also shares Executive Producer credits.
