"All new" -- Doesn't that sound like would describe entirely original content? RTOlson thought so, but quickly became jaded. Nearly every show failed to produce unique opening credits while touting the episode as "all new."
Deciding to take action, RTOlson launched an epic legal battle against the networks after ABC aired an "all-new" clip show of Desperate Housewives. The case quickly reached the steps of the Supreme Court. Facing a dramatic defeat, Congress quickly passed the Honesty in Television Freshness Act.
The Food and Drug Administration is now tasked with inspecting and grading each network's programs. The grading scale includes (in descending order): all-new, instant classic, Very Special Episode, Cosby, retread and Blind Date rerun.
RTOlson is still considering legal action on NBC's "If you haven't seen it, it's new to you" summer promos.
