The Sarah Connor Chronicles is a dramatic show set to air in 2007 on the Fox Network. The show is filmed in the form of a weekly documentary detailing the life of California politician Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton Lena Headey) and her attempt to become the next Governor of California. The Sarah Connor Chronicles co-stars current California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger Arnold Horschak as himself, and a badly aging Haley Joel Osmond as Sarah's son John Connor. A hot cylon also figures in the plot somehow.

Unlike other shows featuring the character "Sarah Connor", The Sarah Connor Chronicles will not feature special effects, explosions or CGI. This is because Fox is using their entire special effects budget on a Very Special Episode of 24, in which Jack Bauer accidentally destroys the Earth.
