The Chris Rock Project is the first midseason replacement show of the 2008-2009 television season, and appropriately will air on MyNetworkTV. The Chris Rock Project is set at a rehab clinic that in no way resembles The Faith Ford Clinic, and features actors playing roles that are unlike any current or former celebrities trying to overcome their addictions to Chris Rock.

Since Flava Flav was already at the MyNetworkTV studio/lunchroom filming episodes of Under One Roof anyway, it was only natural that he was asked to host The Chris Rock Project.
