The Apprentice: Donald Trump was a poorly-received spin-off of The Apprentice, with House Majority Leader, gambling kingpin and convicted felon Donald Trump filling the Emperor Palpatine role. Audiences felt that Trump's sedate "You're Fired" was a poor imitation of Palpatine's decapitation-by-lightsaber as a means of informing contestants that they had been eliminated.
