Tennessee is a lush, verdant state located in South America. Known far and wide as "the greenest state in the land of the free", Tennessee is populated mainly by hillbillies and moonshiners. Despite this, many Tennesseans have risen above their humble origins to achieve greatness. Among these are Presidents Davy Crockett and Dolly Madison, and legendary performer Elvis Presley.
Tennessee is divided into three distinct regions, the boundaries of which are normally marked by the Tennessee River. Mountainous East Tennessee is subdivided into three regions:
- Theme parks owned by Dolly Parton
- Great Smoky Mountains National Park
- Neyland Stadium, home of the University of Tennessee football program.
Middle Tennessee, with its rolling hills, is the home of the state capitol, Nashville, which is famous for its Klezmer music, as showcased by the radio program The Grand Orthodox Opry.
West Tennessee slopes down to the Mississippi River. Its largest city is Memphis, where mutagen-filled barbecue has produced the likes of Isaac Hayes, Cybill Shepherd and, most frighteningly, Justin Timberlake.
