Teen Titans, airing on the Cartoon Network, is not quite anime, nor is it a charming throwback to the simpler days of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the X-Men animated series. It is the heartwarming tale of a disfigured half-man, half-machine, a terrifying occult witch, a whiny pretty boy with a stick, a green shape-shifting freak, and a hot alien babe in a short skirt who shoots lasers out of her hands.
