Talk:The Daily Show

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

I believe Ed Helms is on the show, too. I'd edit it myself, but I can't. But I was told to put it here. So that's what I did. Yep.

The Daily Show began in 1915 as a series of comic strips in the Miami Herald recapping the hilarious exploits of famous industrialist Art VanDeLay during the Spanish-American War. The strip was purchased by Optimus Prime in 1957 and renamed Ghostbusters: The Animated Series, quickly going out of business. In 1985 The Daily Show resurfaced in its present form, as a weekly erectile disfunction infomercial hosted by former Saturday Night Live star Robert Downey, Jr..

That entry is a little off-beat and could apply to any show. The current entry derives its humor more directly to the current incarnation of the show. I don't see a reason to change it. --RTOlson 15:36, 19 April 2006 (PDT)
