Superman is the Last Son of Krypton and the greatest super-hero of all time. He's also a total jerk - he never pays parking tickets, he laughs at at least half of the cries for help he gets, he keeps messing with the affections and memories of both Lois Lane and Lana Lang, he threw the Earth's supply of nuclear missiles into the sun, and he constantly plays practical jokes on Jimmy Olsen and the other members of the JLU. He's been particularly harsh towards those who have played him in the movies and on TV over the years - he drove George Reeves mad, he spooked Christopher Reeve's horse, and he made it so that the only work Dean Cain could get was as villians in second-rate Lifetime movies. It's rumored that Tom Welling and Brandon Routh have had to procure large chunks of Kryptonite because they fear for their lives.
