Subprime Mortgages
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Subprime Mortgages was the first TV show produced by the companies of Wall Street. Hosted by Saved by the Bell star Dustin Diamond, Subprime Mortgages showed viewers how even a homeless person could afford a Donald Trump-built luxury condo with a palatial view of New York City's Central Park. Broadcast mainly as a series of late night infomercials on cable television, Subprime Mortgages helped a lot of people become millionaires.[edit]
Initial Success
Because of the success of Subprime Mortgages, the population of people in and around Central Park exploded. Even ordinary people who initially couldn't have afforded to live in the area became residents.

Hiatus
The increased noise and congestion caused a pack of wild bears who were living in Central Park to awaken early from their hibernation. Enraged, the bears rampaged through Wall Street, causing The Panic of 2008. With the city's financial institutions in ruins, producers had no choice but to put Subprime Mortgages on hiatus until the damage was repaired.
