From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Star Wars: The Live-Action TV Series is a good reason to increase your intake of Jack Daniels. Scheduled to air sometime in 2009, Star Wars: The Live-Action TV Series will feature all your "favorite" characters from Star Wars, courtesy of executive producer George Lucas.

Plot
Essentially, Star Wars: The Live-Action TV Series retells the entire history of the Star Wars universe, in a mammoth 400 episode story arc. The show will be based on every Star Wars product ever released, no matter how minor (except for The Star Wars Holiday Special, which Lucas claims is "non-canon"). The show is described as being "similar to The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, except for that Indiana Jones won't be in it, of course".
Production
Supposedly, production on Star Wars: The Live-Action TV Series began in 2006, using clones of the original Star Wars actors developed by ILM along with the few remaining survivors from The Muppet Show. Lucas also promised that the show would have "plenty of Ewoks", and indicated that Spike TV and G4 had expressed interest in airing the show.
Best Possible Scenario
A long stay in "development hell", followed by a quick trip to hiatus.
Most Likely Scenario
A premium time slot on G4, right between X-Play and Cops.
Spin-offs
Lucas is considering creating a series of video games based on Star Wars: The Live-Action TV Series. If the show is a success, plans are to re-release it in Japan as an anime.
