Sale of the Century
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Sale of the Century (a.k.a. $ale of the Century, S@le of the ¢entury) was awesome. Sick children in the 1980's would enjoy their illnesses because it allowed them to bask in the warm glow of the coolest game show on the planet. Seriously, it was awesome. The theme show was all disco with fanfares and stuff. And there were all these cool bright lights that were kind of like Land of the Lost. And the octogons! Man, this show loved octogons. It was all about the octogons. I think it was sponsored by some international octogon conglomerate or something.
Anyway, on the show people would... um, answer... um... I'm not really sure what they did. I mean, I guess it was a sale or something, but I think there were trivia questions, maybe. Or wait, wasn't it like Deal or No Deal except more complex? Honestly, I don't really remmeber. But man, those were some awesome lights. I remember that. Awesome.
At least, I think there were lights.
