Pushing Daisies is a new dramedy appearing on ABC in the fall of 2007. Pushing Daisies was created by executive producer Bryan Fuller, who is best known as the creative force behind Wonderfalls. Fuller has stated that Pushing Daisies "is not based on real life in any way", but nobody really believes him.

Plot

Pushing Daisies features Lee Pace as a man named Ned, who is the owner of an actual Nielsen box. With a touch of his finger on his special remote, Ned can make television series return from hiatus or even come back from the dead. Ned uses his gifts to fight the dreaded Fox Anguish Division, helped by co-star Tim Minear.

Critical Acclaim

TV Guide Channel has named Pushing Daisies its "Coolest New Television Show of 2007", which probably dooms it to an early cancellation.
