Peabody

Mr. Peabody is a lovable -- if somewhat pedantic -- dog with a knack for invention, creating everything from a time machine to a new definition of family after his landmark adoption (c. 1959) of a boy named Sherman. In honor of Peabody's achievements, the television industry decided to name its highest honor after him.
