Outer space

Outer Space is a general term for anyplace not on or near the planet Earth. This includes areas such as the Sun, Mars, The Moon, Vulcan, and even the inside of a black hole. Outer space lacks many of the luxuries that Earthlings take for granted. Among these are gravity, a breathable atmosphere, cable television, beer, and indoor plumbing. Despite this, outer space is a popular setting for many television shows, especially anime and science fiction programming.
