Midseason replacement show
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
A Midseason Replacement Show is a television program that didn't make the starting lineup on any television network. The show didn't get discouraged, spent its time on the bench without complaining, practiced really hard and trained intensely, then, when an opening developed, hit the airwaves to the cheers of an enthusiastic crowd.
Even Michael Jordan was once in this situation, so keep practicing hard and never get discouraged. One day, with hard work and a little luck, your show might make it on the air.
