McLean Stevenson

McLean Stevenson is best known for serving in the Vietnam War in the 1970s. His time there was documented in the reality sitcom M*A*S*H, which he plugged shamelessly and mindlessly on the game show Match Game during the '70s.

Tragically, his life was cut short on the set of the remake of The Patty Duke Show, entitled Hello, Larry, when a helicopter on the set spun out of control and crashed, decapacitating him and actor Paul McCrane.
