Korea
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Korea, a country in southeast Asia, has a long history that nobody in America knows or cares about. Korea is sometimes known as the Hermit Kingdom, due to the large number of bums residing there.
Korea is best known as the site where President Sheriff Harry S Truman's dramatic opus, The Korean War, was filmed. Today, the country is the world's number one exporter of animation. To increase efficiency, Korea has been split into two roughly equal-sized parts, North Korea and South Korea.
North Korea
Run by the iron fist of its dictator, former Death Row Records executive Kim Jong Illin', North Korea manufactures and exports "traditional" animation products. Chained to their desks, thousands of enslaved animators work night and day to create product for such customers as The Walt Disney Company and Hanna-Barbera. To keep the animators working, thousands of tons of illegal coffee beans are imported from Colombia to North Korea yearly.
South Korea
South Korea is the world's main manufacturer of computer-generated animation, such as that used in anime. South Korea is governed by robots, who make up 90.6% of the country's population (2004 census). South Korean animation is mainly sent to such customers as Fox and the Cartoon Network (both as such and as Adult Swim).
