The Kids in the Hall

(Redirected from Kids in the Hall)

The Kids in the Hall were an elite unit of the Canadian military sent to the United States in the early 1990s in order to attempt to overthrow the U.S. government. Masters of disguise, the many members of the unit could assume dozens of different personae and were masters of improvisation.

Headed by their spymaster leader Lorne Michaels, they operated from 1989 to 1994, frequently going so far as to dress as women in their undercover exploits. As part of Canada's policy of open government, their various missions were taped for later broadcast on CBC.

The Kids were ultimately pulled from U.S. duty by their government. In their time in the United States, however, they had become used to temperatures above freezing, caribou-free streets, and abundant food. The Kids went their individual ways, but most gravitated towards show business and stayed in the United States as a result.

The Kids later formed their own line of artificially-flavored sweets, Brain Candy.
