Jaye P. Morgan parlayed her popularity as a judge on The Gong Show into a five-year stint as an associate justice on the Supreme Court. Some of the significant decisions in which she authored majority opinions include Donaldson v. Maine Fisheries, Unger v. Madison, and State of Nevada v. Unknown Comic, in which the court held that a "gonged" comedian could not sue the state for lost wages.
