Conrad Bain

Conrad Barbara Bain (born February 4, 1923 in Lethbridge, Alberta) is a Canadian actor best known for his roles as Dr. Helena Russell in Space: 1999 (1975-1977, 1999) and Phillip Drummond in Diff'rent Strokes (1978-1986).

He is the author, with Robert Novak, of Diff'rent Strokes to Rule the World: Conrad Bain's Guide to a Better Planet, and is married to actor Martin Landau.
