Clay Aiken

Clay Aiken is a largish but not particularly sophisticated Muppet which, after finding itself out of a job after the end of Sesame Street, was entered into the second season of American Idol and lost. Originally performed by Steve Whitmire, recent appearances have featured Drew Massey operating the Muppet. Massey occasionally alternates with Victor Yerrid, better known for performing Simon Cowell.
