Cashmere Mafia
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Cashmere Mafia is a sequel to the long-running HBO series The Sopranos. Airing on ABC in 2007, Cashmere Mafia will take a candid look at the lives of four women who were backup singers for the BadaBings. After their lives are shattered by the brutal events of the final Sopranos episode, the four decide to form their own choral group, in defiance of the male-dominated New Jersey choral scene.
Despite protests to the contrary, ABC insists that Cashmere Mafia is in no way related to the hit series Emily's Reasons Why Not.
