Bruce Willis was a promising actor who got his first taste of success providing the voice of Baby Mickey on the DuMont Network show Baby Talk. He seemed poised for bigger things after a leading role on the HBO mini-series Moonlighting, but while filming the Made-for-TV Movie Armageddon Willis died in a freak on-set accident that involved a polar bear, a two-quart jar of honey, and Casey Affleck. Co-star Morgan Freeman's stirring eulogy at Willis's funeral is considered to be a modern classic of oration.

However, as opposed to most actors who have their greatest success pre-dead, Willis would go on to have his greatest impact in the afterlife, as he was responsible for outing the ghost whispering abilities of the young Haley Joel Osmond.
